A little day trip with good ole' mom & dad & no kids, wahoo

Adrienne was at school and Cooper was at preschool and with the help of my friend Tiffany (thanks!) my parents and I were able to go to Annapolis for the day! It is a beautiful town. During the 1700's it was a bustling seaport and was also the Capital of the United States for a time. Annapolis is known today as America's sailing capitol, it's home to the United States Navel Academy and has the most 17th and 18th Century homes in the country.

We all shared a yummy raspberry Napoleon pastry (yummy) on this quaint little street. The weather was beautiful that day!

We toured the William Paca House. It was constructed between 1763-1765, the five-part Georgian residence was built as a town home for William Paca, a wealthy young planter who was a signer of the Declaration of Independence. The estate is well-known for its two-acre pleasure garden featuring five terraces, a fish-shaped pond, and a wilderness garden.
I can't wait to go back with Ryan!
